Western Cape The Whale Trail will be closed from January to April 2019!
The famous Whale Trail, a 5-day hiking trail that stretches over 55km from Potberg to Koppie Alleen in the De Hoop Nature Reserve, will be closed from January 2019 to April 2019 for maintenance. CapeNature, the public institution with the statutory responsibility for biodiversity conservation in South Africas Western Cape, will therefor not be taking advance bookings for the Whale Trail as of January 2018. Bookings for 2019 will resume on 01 May 2018.
